Vexels faced a challenge when its marketing team lost their copywriter. With a small team juggling broad responsibilities, they needed a solution to maintain the quality and consistency of their content while continuing to engage their audience effectively through their blog and other marketing initiatives. The challenge was to find a way to produce high-quality content that would still resonate with their community, while covering a broad range of topics.
The Solution
To address this challenge, Vexels partnered with Ricas Collective to strengthen their content strategy and bridge the gap in editorial expertise. The collaboration focused on producing blog posts monthly, to drive organic traffic and support user acquisition while aligning with their tone, audience, and strategic goals.
In parallel, we supported the Merch Digest, a monthly trend report designed to foster user retention and ongoing engagement. Tailored for Vexels’ print-on-demand community, the Digest covers design concepts, marketing strategies, and a spotlight trend, selected by the Ricas team using social media insights and pop culture fluency. The goal was to keep the content timely, practical, and deeply relevant to a creative audience.
Our work involved close coordination with Vexels’ marketing team to ensure that all content aligned with product launches and broader initiatives. This consistent editorial stream continued contributing to both attracting new users through SEO and keeping existing ones engaged through high-value content.
The Result
The collaboration allowed Vexels to seamlessly integrate an on-call copywriter into its marketing team, addressing two key needs in inbound marketing and retention, without adding a full-time hire.
