The Challenge

The previous branding of the nonprofit presented significant challenges. The logo was outdated and it lacked both symbolism and emotional depth to express broader values such as community, freedom, and transformation. Additionally, the old design did not scale well for modern applications, making it impractical for digital use and reducing its effectiveness across various platforms.

The Solution

The rebranding project focused on creating a contemporary and symbolic identity for the nonprofit. The new logo features two intertwined birds in flight, representing migration, collaboration, and hope, key pillars of the organization’s mission. The birds' movement communicates both journey and connection.

Alongside the logo, a fresh color palette and modern typography were introduced. These elements were applied consistently across their digital and physical assets, including social media, to ensure a cohesive and scalable presence.

The Result

Idas & Vueltas transformed the way they communicate their mission and values. The new design is versatile and scalable, giving them a polished presence across digital channels and real-world applications like roll-ups. This rebrand not only elevated the organization’s image to meet current design standards, but also stayed true to its core purpose: supporting migrants and defending the right to human mobility.
